Stop looking at your Deviant Art and thinking how crappy an artist you are.

Stop worrying about how many people like your artwork.

Stop thinking that popularity = success. It doesn't.

Screw Equestria Daily's "standard." They aren't worth the effort.

Stop thinking just because you've made a mistake it's the end of the world. It isn't, and you can fix it.

Stop moping and having pity parties because you aren't where you think you should be.

Stop second guessing yourself and asking yourself pointless questions.

Stop thinking you don't deserve an Ask tumblr, an OC, friends or any of the related.

Stop thinking about giving up drawing. You've come too far to just give up like a wussy.

Stop thinking that you need to be fast. You'll get faster with practice. Focus on making something complete.

Stop expecting instant gratification, you aren't going to get it. Work toward something you can enjoy.

Stop thinking you haven't made any sort of progress. So help me I'll get the Yoshi drawings from 2002...

Stop acting like this is a test of your performance. Art time is fun time, so have fun damn it!

Stop thinking it has to be perfect. Experiment, make mistakes, get sloppy! LEARN WHY!

Stop comparing yourself to the friends who are more skilled then you. They want you to get better, prove to them you can!

Stop thinking it's because no one likes you. No one knows you because you chose to sit in the dark, alone. Get out there and talk to people!

Stop thinking you can only be happy if you have lots of followers/fans.

Stop. Being. Lazy.

Remember:

Every single artist, be they fan or professional, started right where you are right now.

It takes time. It takes effort. It takes passion. You have the passion, use that inner fire.
